Llanharry Workingmen’s Club is young in comparison to many clubs in the area our history page will tell you that the club was opened in 1959 four years after the idea to build a club was put forward.

Although the fundamental principles of the  old Working Men’s Club exist, an indication of its progress is that women have become full members which gives them equal rights and a seat on the managing committee should they be nominated and elected.  

The club celebrated the 50^th Anniversary on Saturday September 19^th 2009
